The Three Deaths of Red Spectre - Vinylpostcard

from Gwenifer Raymond

The Three Deaths of Red Spectre began, in very basic form, as a live-scored piece for the 1904 silent French film, 'The Red Spectre', about a demonic magician in his bizarre grotto. Composing following a narrative forced Raymond to move from the fairly standard folk song structure she was used to, to something following a classical structure, using movements. It has strongly influenced everything she has written since. The piece was recorded as a one take at weyrerTon studios.

The artwork was exclusively created for this release by
Austrian artist Horst Rainer (RIP) painted the front with his special technique of blending rust with oil colours and illustrator Karin Kaufmann hand-lettered the back and created a truly unique postcard look.

The Vinylpostcard comes in a thick black paper sleeve with a see through window made of cellulose foil and adhesive strip. So you can send off the card safely to your friend if you wish too.

The card features a 3:30 edit of the track within its grooves and the full length version via the Vinylpostcards App.

Follow the instructions on the inlay of the card to learn how and experience this release digitally too. The video featuring Gwenifers full performance is also only available via the card.
